How do I play?
Spin to draw a team and season, then bank one component into a garage slot. Fill all five slots (two drivers, team principal, chassis, power unit), then run the season simulation. Win every race to go unbeaten.
Where do the ratings come from?
Every driver, chassis and power unit is rated from real season results across 2000-2025 - points share, wins, poles, teammate head-to-head and reliability. The data is bundled in the app; no internet connection is required to play.
What are re-spins?
Re-spins let you reject a draw and try again. You get a limited number per build, and far fewer on higher difficulties. Spend them wisely.
Do you collect my data?
No accounts, no tracking, no servers. Your builds and history are stored locally on your device only.
Is this an official Formula 1 product?
No. Grid Builder is an independent, unofficial game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, the FIA, or any team or driver. Names are used descriptively to reference historical motorsport results.
